Tubemate v2.4.8 originally came out months ago. In the link to up to down you provided you can clearly see this - date is clearly labelled 06.13.18. You can't go back and use a previous version of the app because they also 'updated' the prev versions so that they also now have the new copyright protection, like in the link you provided, thus I need an original copy of a previous version of the app.
Did you read the post? They brought in copyright protection (so now you can not use tubemate to download certain material, say music, on the basis that you might be infringing copyright, which defeats the purpose of the app for many). Re-edit: Tried to make the nature of the issue clearer, for the avoidance of any confusion.
Thanks for your time - if anyone can help please drop me a pmĮdit: If I were looking to replace tubemate with another app to download video/musics and change media files, what would be your recommendation? Problem is I'm running a old crappy phone with 4.1.2 and about 100-120mb free space (yep), so if it was lightweight in the memory department that would be an major advantage. I know I could use another app instead and that there are copies of the original version of 2.4 floating aroundīut figured I would ask the community if anyone has a copy of the old 'original' 2.4.8 or 2.4.7apk? A link to it, or maybe a copy left slumbering somewhere in the depths of the downloads section of their phone, that they could point me in the direction of?
apk of the previous version of the app, as this will not incorporate the changes they have revised all versions of the app with. This effectively means you can't just do a simple google search and go to their website/majority-of-mirrors and download a previous version you need an 'original' copy of the. So (fool that I am) upgraded to 3.15 not knowing Devian had made changes to the copyright protection nor that they had also 'updated' the previous versions of the app so that now many links to copies of the previous versions of the app also include the new copyright changes.
